Therefore, we began planning for specialized care facilities for the elderly, chronically ill and vegetative patients many years ago, complemented by the experience of the Formosa Plastics Corporation in plant construction and management rationalization, as well as Chang Gung Hospital's years of accumulated medical technology*** to seek better care for the elderly, chronically ill, and vegetative patients in Taiwan, who have been neglected for so long. For example, a nursing home for vegetative patients, a chronic hospital for the chronically ill, and a cultural village for the elderly are currently under construction, with the goal of providing these patients and the elderly with good quality services at a low price and good life care, and at the same time promoting the Taiwan government and the community to pay attention to the elderly and the chronically ill.
