Standards for the evaluation of the rest period, nutrition period and nursing period of injured persons after personal injury. 1. Scope This standard specifies the principles and methods for the evaluation of the rest period, nutrition period and nursing period of injured persons after human injury. and content. This standard is applicable to the evaluation of the rest period, nutrition period and nursing period of injured persons in personal injury compensation cases such as personal injury, road traffic accidents, work-related accidents, medical dispute cases, etc. 2. Definition The "three periods" referred to in this standard refer to the time for rest, nutrition and care required by the injured after human injury, which are called the rest period, nutrition period and care period respectively. (1) Rest period: The rest period is also called lost work period and medical rest period. It refers to the time after human body injury, receiving medical treatment and functional rehabilitation, and being unable to participate in normal work, study, and activities. (2) Nutritional period The nutritional period is also called the nutritional compensation period, which refers to the time when the human body needs to be supplemented with necessary nutrients after injury to improve the quality of treatment or accelerate recovery from injury. (3) Nursing period The nursing period, also known as the nursing and accompanying period, refers to the time after the human body is injured and during the period of medical treatment or functional recovery that the person cannot take care of himself and needs help from others.

Legal basis:

Article 1179 of the "People's Republic of China and Civil Code" who infringes upon others and causes personal injury shall compensate for medical expenses and nursing expenses , transportation expenses, nutrition expenses, hospitalization food subsidies and other reasonable expenses for treatment and recovery, as well as income reduced due to missed work. If the person becomes disabled, he shall also be compensated for assistive device fees and disability compensation; if he dies, he shall also be compensated for funeral expenses and death compensation.
