What are the qualifications of third-party testing institutions?

Inspection and testing institutions engaged in the following activities shall obtain qualifications:

(1) Provide evidence data and results for the decision of judicial organs;

(two) to provide data and results that can prove the administrative decisions made by the administrative organs;

(three) to provide evidence and results for the arbitration decision of the arbitration institution;

(4) Providing evidential data and results for social, economic and public welfare activities;

(5) qualifications that should be recognized as stipulated by other laws and regulations. These Measures shall be observed in the inspection and testing activities within the territory of People's Republic of China (PRC) that produce data and results that prove to the society, as well as in the qualification identification, supervision and management of inspection and testing institutions.

Third-party inspection and testing institutions must have CMA and CNAS certification, and if they are food testing institutions, they must also have CMAF.

1, CMA (compulsory accreditation of inspection institutions and laboratories in China): product quality inspection institutions that have obtained metrological certification can conduct inspection according to the certificate.

China's test and measurement industry needs CMA certification. CMA is administrative in nature, equivalent to a business license.

2.CNAS is a national accreditation body approved and authorized by the National Certification and Accreditation Administration, and is responsible for the accreditation of certification bodies, laboratories, inspection bodies and other relevant institutions.

CNAS is a third-party certification, which proves that your detection ability has reached a high level and can be highly recognized by international organizations. All laboratories with CNAS qualifications have CMA qualifications, and CMA is a necessary qualification for laboratories, which is equivalent to the foundation.

3.CMAF: qualification certificate of food inspection institution, which is required by food inspection institution.

Note: According to the Administrative Measures for Accreditation of Inspection and Testing Institutions, CMAF certificate and CMA certificate have been formally merged into CMA certificate since August 1 2065.
