The use of purified water

Many users can not distinguish between pure water, purified water, ultrapure water, what is the difference between pure water, purified water, ultrapure water, pure water refers to H2O free of impurities, through the removal of ions in the water by the equipment is purified water. Ultrapure water refers to the water ions are almost completely removed, and the water will not dissociate the colloidal substances, gases and organic matter are removed to a very low degree of water.

Pure water:

Pure water refers to H2O without impurities, pure water is mainly used reverse osmosis filtration, so as to achieve the requirements of pure water, pure water, clear water, without any impurities, can effectively avoid the invasion of bacteria, can be safe, effective for the human body to replenish water, and has the role of promoting metabolism.

Purified water:

Purified water for distillation, ion exchange, reverse osmosis, or other suitable methods to produce water for medicinal purposes, without any additives. In the pharmaceutical field need to use relatively pure water, and ordinary water can not meet the requirements, through the equipment to remove the ions in the water is purified water.

Ultra-pure water:

Ultra-pure water refers to water ions are almost completely removed, and the water will not be dissociated from the colloidal substances, gases and organic matter are removed to a very low degree of water. Need to go through pre-treatment, reverse osmosis, EDI, resin, sterilizer and other multi-layer process can be made, ultrapure water resistivity can reach 18 megohm-CM, the highest can reach 18.25 megohm-CM.

What is the difference?

1. Manufacturing process is different:

Pure water is generally used in reverse osmosis or distillation can be produced.

Purified water is the use of distillation, ion exchange, reverse osmosis or other suitable methods of preparation of pharmaceutical water.

Ultra-pure water generally needs to go through pretreatment, reverse osmosis, EDI, resin, sterilizer and other multi-layer process can be made.

2. Different uses:

Pure water is generally used in the chemical industry, metallurgy, aerospace, electric power, electronics industry, biology, chemistry and other fields.

Purified water is generally used in pharmaceuticals, pharmaceutical water.

Ultra-pure water has a wide range of applications, generally used in the production of monitors, hard disk, CD-ROM and other water, extreme ultra-pure water with terminal fine-treatment of mixed beds, laboratory, biological, pharmaceutical, petroleum, chemical, steel, glass and other fields.

3. Different conductivity:

Pure water conductivity between 2-10us/cm.

Purified water conductivity ≤ 0.2us/cm.

Ultra-pure water conductivity of 0.056us/cm.

4. impurities in the water indicators are different:

purified water and purified water impurity content for the ppm level, ppm is the rate of parts per million or parts per million.

And ultrapure water is generally in addition to water molecules, almost no impurities, there are no bacteria, viruses and other substances, and no minerals needed by the human body, so it is generally used in industry.
