One of the spouses is sick in the case of not divorced can require the other party to pay medical expenses or living expenses

The manner and time of payment of alimony in the case of divorce by mutual agreement is determined by both parties, and it may be agreed that alimony is not to be paid, but the agreement does not prevent the child from making a reasonable request to either parent for more than the amount originally agreed upon or adjudicated, if necessary.

Legal Objective:

Article 1085 of the Civil Code states that after a divorce, if the children are raised directly by one of the parents, the other parent shall bear part or all of the maintenance costs. The amount and duration of the expenses to be borne shall be agreed upon by the two parties; if the agreement fails, it shall be adjudicated by the People's Court. The agreement or judgment stipulated in the preceding paragraph shall not prevent the children from making reasonable demands on either parent in excess of the original amount of the agreement or judgment when necessary.
