Traveling to Switzerland, what materials are needed to apply for a Swiss tourist visa?

Required materials for visa application

1. Basic materials

1) For a visa to Switzerland, the following documents must be provided in English, French, German or Italian (select one of them) characters).

2) Detailed full itinerary plan, including stays in other countries.

3) Hotel booking confirmation.

4) Round-trip air ticket (or other means of transportation) reservation form, a copy is sufficient.

5) Original passport, valid for more than 3 months.

6) Copies of pages 1-6 of your passport and copies of all visa and entry-exit record stamps.

7) Old passport (if any), including original and copies of all visas and entry-exit records.

8) Household register (photocopies of all pages except blank pages. Translation of kinship page).

11) Business card (except students, unemployed and retired people).

12) Provide sufficient proof of financial resources. Such as bank statements or passbook records in the last 3-6 months, real estate certificates, car owner certificates, original and copy of bank deposit certificates, etc.

13) Proof of leave approval from the employer. If it is a Chinese version, the original and translated copies must be provided. Indicate the applicant’s name, date of birth, position, monthly income, length of employment, the company’s consent for leave and expense arrangements, company address, email address and phone number, seal and signature, and the name of the person in charge of the company. Name and position. If you are retired, please provide the original, copy and translation of your retirement certificate.

14) Original and copy of the relevant insurance certificate covering the entire Schengen area trip. The insurance amount must be no less than 30,000 euros, which can cover any emergency medical services and repatriation arrangements due to health problems.

3. Documents required for long-term visa (Category D)

1) Domestic Au Pair visa

⑴ Valid passport, 3 remaining after the visa expires It is valid for 3 months and has at least 2 blank visa pages.

⑵ The passport information page includes two copies of the signature page and the Schengen visa held in the past (if any).

⑶ Three D visa application forms filled out and signed by yourself (applying for a long-term visa for a stay of more than 3 months).

⑷ Four recent color passport photos, 3.5x4.5cm.

⑸ Two originals and copies of employment contracts with Swiss host families. The contract should clearly define the rights and obligations between the employer and the domestic au pair.

⑹ Two admission notices from Swiss language schools (one original and one copy). Depending on the language of residence, applicants must register for at least 120 hours of German, French or Italian language courses. In addition, applicants must have a basic understanding of one of the above languages.

2) Family Reunion Permit

⑴ Valid passport, which is still valid for 3 months after the visa expires and has at least two blank visa pages.

⑵ The passport information page includes two copies of the signature page and the Schengen visa held in the past (if any).

⑶ Three D visa application forms filled out and signed by yourself (applying for a national visa for a stay of more than 3 months).

⑷ Four recent color passport photos, measuring 3.5x4.5cm.

⑸ Two copies of the spouse’s Swiss permit (if applicable).

⑹ Two clear copies of the passport information pages of the spouse/parents including the signature page.

⑺ Two originals and copies of spouse/parents’ employment contracts.

⑻ Two invitation letters from spouse/parents requesting to apply for a residence permit for the applicant.

⑼ Two notarized marriage certificates certified by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (non-English, German, French or Italian marriage certificates require notarized translation).

⑽ Two notarized birth certificates of minor children certified by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (if applicable). Birth certificates in languages ??other than English, German, French or Italian must be notarized and translated.

⑾ Two copies of the applicant’s or spouse’s financial certificates: bank statements for the past 3-6 months.

3) Swiss Study Visa

⑴ Valid passport, which is still valid for 3 months after the visa expires and has at least 2 blank visa pages.

⑵ The passport information page includes two copies of the signature page and the Schengen visa held in the past (if any).

⑶ 3 D visa application forms filled out and signed by yourself (applying for a national visa for a stay of more than 3 months).

⑷ Minors:

a. Two notarized statements of consent from both parents or legal guardians, which must state the available study and living expenses within the specified time, and must be submitted diplomatically Ministry certification. If the parents or legal guardian are not in China, they must be certified by the relevant departments of their country of residence.

b. Notarized certificate of kinship or legal guardianship certified by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

⑸ Four recent color passport photos, 3.5x4.5cm.

⑹ Two resumes and signatures.

⑺ Two study plan forms, which should explain why you decided to study in Switzerland and your expectations for your future career, and sign them.

⑻ Two copies of future plans, including academic and career achievements after completing studies in Switzerland, and description of how to benefit from what you have learned in the future. Signed.

⑼ Two written statements confirming your departure from Switzerland after completing your studies.

⑽ Two graduation certificates/degree certificates, notarized and translated into French, Italian or German originals and copies.

⑾ Two originals and copies of admission notices from Swiss schools/universities.

⑿ Two proofs of sufficient funds, such as bank statements, deposit certificates, etc. originals and copies.

⒀ Two certificates of tuition payment.

⒁ Two documents, indicating the school’s complete address, zip code and phone number, in Chinese and English.

⒂ If the course is taught in English, valid IELTS test scores (original and copy issued by the embassy) are required.

4) Work or internship permit

⑶ Three D visa application forms filled out and signed by yourself (applying for a national visa for a stay of more than 3 months).

⑷ Four recent color passport photos, measuring 3.5x4.5cm.

⑸ Two contracts signed with Swiss companies or invitation letters from Swiss companies and descriptions of work projects during the period (one original and one copy of each).
