The following to create a simple Adobe Premiere movie (as Figure 1): a movie shot from the distance rotating and floating in, followed by the appearance of subtitles, fade-in and fade-out effect converted into another movie shot. Through this example you can understand the whole process of Premiere application.
Video footage
1, start Premiere 6.0 appears Load Project (program pre-set) dialog box, each new Adobe Premiere program must be preset, in the preset describes the time base of the program, the movie playback rate, the compression type selection, preview and output.
2, from the preset table, select PAL Video for Windows, click "OK", the project window (input video), the time scale window (editing production), information window (displaying information about the details of the Clips), the transition window (select a specific effect between video), the preview window (to achieve the transition), the transition between the video Transition window (select a specific effect to realize transition between videos), Preview window (bring together and preview in the production window).
3, double-click the Project (Project) window, pop-up Import (input) window, select the video material, click "OK", OK.
4, double-click the Project (Project) window in the Cyclers.avi video pop-up Monitor window, click the play sign, until you think it is the beginning of the movie location then click the stop sign, and then click the Mark In button below, play to the end of the video material you think it is the location of the end of the video click the Mark Out button.
Making a Clip
Using the Time Scale window, you can make a movie out of your video's audio clip. The production window includes several channels for image and sound, the image channels include the main Video 1A channel and Video 1B channel, the T channel is the transition channel, the Video 2 channel and the channels that can be added are the image overlay channels, the Audio channel is the sound channel, and to the left of the channels is the control bar.
Drag a video from the edited 1.avi to Video 1A channel, drag another video to Video 1B channel, set the length (the same way as 1.avi) and adjust their positions, drag the video in Video 1B channel to the position where it partially overlaps with the video in Video 1A channel.
Add transitions
To make two video clips connect naturally, you can use various transitions, Adobe Premiere provides more than 70 kinds of transitions, such as: slide in, fade in, diffuse, page turn, mosaic, etc.
Select Window→Show Transitions to bring up the Transitions settings window. Tap Cross Dissolve to fade in and out the transition effect.
Click the expansion flag of the Transition item class, drag and drop the selected transition to the T-channel on the overlapping part of the two Clips, the program will automatically determine the length of the transition to fit the transition part. In most cases, when two Clips are placed in different channels of the production window, Adobe Premiere will automatically set the transition in the correct direction.
Applying Filters
In the process of movie making, using filters for special processing of images is one of the most important ways to make the picture produce realistic and wonderful special effects.Adobe Premiere 6.0 provides more than 70 kinds of movie and still image filters and 21 kinds of sound filters, such as: paste mold, ripple, mirror, wind, phantom, and other kinds of effect The filters. And you can customize your own filters as needed.
Select Window→Show Video Effect to bring up the Effect setting window. Click the Adjust item in the Effect settings window to expand the logo to appear filters, select the Brightness&&Contrast filter to the Timeline (time scale) window on the 1.avi video, and then select Window→Show Effect Controls pop-up Effect Effect Controls (Effect Controls) window for contrast and brightness adjustment, while the screen will appear Motion display window, you can watch the effect of adjustment. And you can apply several filter effects to a video clip.
The effect of movie footage spinning and floating in from the distance is created using filters. In the Timeline window, tap the blade-like Cut tool in the upper-left corner, and click somewhere in the middle of the timeline of 1.avi in the Video 1A channel to cut 1.avi into two segments. Tap the Selection tool to select the first segment of 1.avi. Click and drag the Transform item extension flag in the Effect settings window to bring up the filters, and select the Camera View filter to the previous segment of the 01.avi video in the Timeline window.
In the pop-up Effect Controls (Effect Controls) window, click Setup to the right of Motion, the Motion Settings window appears, according to Figure 3, set the Motion Window: Rotation is changed to 360, Zoom is changed to 20%, distortion is modified to a diamond, the end of the end of dragging the point of the visible area, you can watch the effect of adjustments at the same time. After confirming that there is no error, press the OK button.
Add text and sound
Click File→New→Title to bring up the text editor. Select the T button and click in the blank space to enter the text you want to type. By default, the text background is transparent; however, if the production is NTSC, you also have to right-click on the text editor blank, select the Subtitle Window option, and check the box in front of the NTSC security color; if it is PAL, you don't need to check the box.
Select File→Save and enter a filename and click OK to save. Add this subtitle item in the Project window, drag it to the Video 2 track in the Timeline window, put the mouse on the back edge of the subtitle, the mouse arrow becomes the shape of the anti-E, drag its length to the desired length.
Double-click a blank space in the Project window, select a file of WAV music, and drag it to the Audio 1 track.
Generating and Playing a Movie
Select File→Export Timeline→Movie to generate your production. If you want to generate a RealPlayer format movie suitable for online playback, choose File→Export Timeline→Advanced RealMedia Export, which is a new feature of Adobe Premiere 6.0. Generate the end of the pop-up generated works, click the Play button you can watch your work, the effect is good.
