Chinese Institute of Graphics is the only unit in China that issues the National BIM Skill Level Examination Certificate.
BIM skills are divided into three levels, Level 1 for BIM modeler; Level 2 for BIM senior modeler; Level 3 for BIM application designer. At this stage, only Level 1 and Level 2 exams are offered, and Level 3 exams are not yet available.

BIM technology, as a new skill, has a growing social demand and is becoming a new bright spot in China's employment. In this context, the Chinese Institute of Graphic Arts, in line with the purpose of better serving the community, timely development of BIM skills level training and assessment work.
In order to provide a scientific and standardized basis for this skill training, the National BIM Skill Level Assessment Steering Committee has organized the relevant domestic experts to formulate the BIM Skill Level Assessment Outline.
