(2) Open the package and take out the splint, soak it in room temperature water for 3 to 4 seconds and squeeze it 2 to 3 times.
(3) Remove the bandage while squeezing out the excess water, and use a towel to absorb the water droplets on the surface of the splint.
(4) Cover the bandage over the area to be immobilized, shape it, and secure it with a gauze bandage or elastic bandage wrap.
(5) The splint begins to harden after 3 to 5 minutes and is fully weight-bearing after 20 minutes.
