Let's talk about how to switch from making drugs to making instruments.
I want to express my personal opinion here. I think you can switch to instruments when you are in pharmacy, but it depends on what instruments you switch to. There are many kinds of instruments, which can be divided into three types from the hospital: one is large equipment; One is high-value consumables; One is low-value consumables. 1. Large-scale equipment: great profits, but few quantities. It will take several years to enter the hospital, but it needs the approval of the dean and other senior personnel to enter the hospital. If large-scale equipment is made, the high-level relationship of the hospital will be quite good. Such as: B-ultrasound machine, etc. 2. High-value consumables: the profit margin is average, but the quantity is large, and the overall profit is also considerable. To enter the hospital, you must first get the approval of the hospital equipment department, and then do clinical work according to the department where the product is used, and find the clinical chief physician. Such as: disposable thoracoabdominal puncture kit, etc. 3. Low-value consumables: the profit is small and the quantity is large. Generally speaking, the profit is average. As long as it is a hospital approved by the hospital equipment department, it is not necessary to do clinical work. For example, the process of wearing a chest bag and gauze at one time is similar to that of making high-value consumables, but when I first entered the hospital, I mainly went to the pharmacy department, and the high-value consumables went to the equipment department, which was similar in clinic. The profit of manufacturing high-value consumables is much higher than that of manufacturing drugs.
