640×480, VGA, a few large screen handheld devices.

800×600, SVGA, a few ultra-small flat notebooks, 14 inch CRT display (obsolete).

1024×768, XGA, 12 to 15 inch tablet laptop, 17 inch CRT monitor (obsolete), old LCD monitor (obsolete).

1400× 1050, SXGA+, a few 14 inch ThinkPad notebooks.

1600× 1200, UXGA, high-end CRT display, and a few 15 inch universal screen mobile workstations (such as ThinkPad T60p, T6 1p).

2048× 1536, QXGA, special display for medical equipment (using wide-angle panel)

Additional: Alternative 5:4 aspect ratio (usually TN panel)

1280× 1024, SXGA mainstream 17 inch flat panel LCD, a few 17 inch CRT monitors (obsolete).

2. 8:5 aspect ratio based on computer monitor (TN panel is usually used)
