How to select a planetary gearhead:
1) First of all, you should choose a planetary gearhead that matches the motor mounting flange, the motors are classified according to the mounting flange, for example: servo motors are divided into 40 series, 60 series, 80 series, 110 series, 130 series, 150 series, 180 series, etc.; stepper motors are divided into 42 series, 57 series, 86 series, 110 series, 130 series, etc. Planetary gearheads are also based on the mounting flange to determine the model, so 400W60 series servo motors or 57 stepper motors are generally equipped with 60 series of planetary gearheads; 750W80 series servo motors or 86 stepper motors are generally equipped with 80 series of planetary gearheads.
2) Determine the reduction ratio: the specific reduction ratio is the equipment manufacturers according to their own equipment requirements to determine. At present, the planetary gear reducer is generally divided into 3 levels, there are manufacturers only 2 levels, 1 level of deceleration is generally below 20; 2 levels of deceleration between 20-100, 3 levels of deceleration in more than 100, the higher the number of levels, the more expensive, the larger the gap.
3) Determine the input and output form of the reducer: input, there are holes and shaft input; output, there are shaft output, hole output, flange output, etc.
4) The shape of the reducer: there are round reducers, there are square reducers, because the square rated output torque is greater than the round, and the production process is more complex than the round and so on, the square reducer is more expensive than the round!

1) Rated torque: the torque required by the load can not exceed the rated torque of the reducer, for example: 400W servomotor rated torque of 1.3NM, the use of gear ratio of 100:1 reducer, then it should be 1.3NM * 100 = 130NM of torque, but the 400W servo motor rated torque of 1.3NM, using 100:1 reducer, then 1.3NM * 100 = 130NM of torque. 130NM of torque, but 400W corresponding to the reducer itself has a rated torque of only 50NM or so, so the maximum can only be calculated according to the torque of 50NM, the load can not be more than 50NM
2) gap: because it is a mechanical transmission, so the gap is sure to exist, so be sure to understand the gap of the reducer, calculate is not in line with the requirements of the equipment, some foreign manufacturers Can do 3 arc minutes below
3) noise: planetary reducer is generally in the 60-65 dB or so
Note: some customers for the first time, and will not calculate the torque, inertia, which will lead to a lot of unnecessary trouble, so the initial selection is very necessary, choose a big waste, choose a small easy to damage, exactly how to choose a good one?
