Currently it is expected that the first phase of the project is expected to be opened in 2021, but there is no certainty as to when it will be opened. Changsha Metro Line 6 is currently the longest line, the most interchangeable, and the largest span in the Changsha Metro.

Expanded information:
A subway is a fast, high-capacity, electrically-powered railroad built in a city. Trains run on fully enclosed lines, with lines located in the central city basically located in underground tunnels, and lines outside the central city generally located on viaducts or at ground level. The subway is a variety of underground and above ground rights of way covering urban areas proprietary, high-density, high-capacity urban rail transit system, the Taiwan Metro called "MRT".
The world's first underground railroad system was the London Metropolitan Railway (MetropolitanRailway), which opened in 1863 and was built to solve London's traffic congestion problems. Electricity was not yet widely available, so even the underground railroad had to use steam locomotives. The tunnels had to have ventilation slots open to the ground at regular intervals because the exhaust fumes emitted by the locomotives were harmful to the human body. By 1870, London opened its first passenger bored subway, crossing the Thames near the Tower of London. The railroad was not a success and closed after a few months. The earliest surviving bored underground railroad opened in 1890, also in London, connecting the city center to the south. Initially, the builders planned to use a cable car-like propulsion method, but in the end, electric locomotives were used, making it the first electrically-powered underground railroad. Earlier undergrounds in London were electrified in 1906.
China's first subway line was built on July 1, 1965, and opened on October 1, 1969, making Beijing the first city in China to have a subway.
