May I ask you finance professionals which stage of the accounts receivable period is referred to? Is it from the time of shipment to the time of payment or is it from the time of VAT invoice to the time of payment? Accounts receivable period is the ageing of the accounts, which is the point at which the invoice is posted to your books until payment is made.

For example, if an invoice is issued and recorded on January 1, it will be aged 3 months by the end of March.

The latter is what you said. Because generally invoices always have to be recorded in a timely manner, can not be invoiced this month but recorded next month.
