Denmark's economy

Denmark is a developed western industrialized country. It has a well-developed agriculture, fisheries and food processing industry, and is known as the European cheese market. It has advanced production technology and experience in many industrial fields. They mainly include commerce, telecommunications, finance, insurance, tourism and technical services. Tourism is an important industry in the Danish service sector, in 2009 tourism revenue of 38.56 billion kroner, the average annual foreign tourists about 2 million people. 2011 *** there are 599 hotels, guest beds 129,000, foreign tourists stayed 43.6 million nights. Transportation

Sea, land and air transportation is well developed. Merchant ships are mainly engaged in international transportation.

Railways: In 2011, the total length of railroads was 2,667 kilometers, of which 514 kilometers were privately owned. 2010 passenger traffic was 230 million, and freight traffic was 8.12 million tons.

Finance
