Characteristics of safety door switch
Safety door switch consists of two parts which are independent of each other: the switch body and the actuator of the switch. When the safety door is opened, the switch actuator is pulled out of the switch body, and the normally closed contacts in the switch are disconnected by a mechanical rebound device. When the door is closed, the switch actuator is inserted into the switch body, whereupon the normally closed contacts are closed so that the drive or control system of the machine or equipment can be energized. Under no circumstances are safety guard switches with a separate detachable actuator permitted to be used as mechanical stop switches. For the safety gate switch, it is a kind of switch that can not be easily operated using common tools such as keys, coins, screwdrivers, flat-nosed pliers, knives, etc., in addition to the use of a special device (key, etc.) so as to avoid safety problems caused by misoperation or malicious operation
Role of safety switches
Safety switches, as the name implies, are of course used for security and protection purposes.
For example, a safety switch on a washing machine:
Almost all automatic washing machines have a safety switch. If the user opens the top cover of the washing machine (or lifts the top cover to a certain height) when the washing machine is running a high-speed program such as spinning, the washing machine will stop working and emit a beeping tone, while the display will show the corresponding error code.
How to replace the safety switch
