Dorako's Brand Story

After the war in Korea in the 1950s, most of the domestic supply of razors flowed to the market from the U.S. military, so it was very expensive.

Toyo Light Metal Co., Ltd. was established in 1955, and in 1961, it introduced razor production equipment made in Germany, and started the production of safety razors.

In 1981, Toyo Light Metal purchased two-layer razor production equipment from a British company and began production of 2-layer sanitary razors, and from 1984 invested in the development of medical razors and women's razors.

In 1990, we officially changed our name to "DORCO", and in 1998, Mr. Hong Chou-sik, the representative of the Board of Directors of DORCO, took office; in 2001, we launched the WIN3 triple razor, and in 2005, we set up the overseas production bases in Ningbo, China, Mexico, and Vietnam.

In 2007, the world's first 6-ply razor "PACE 6" was launched, and sales corporations were established in Shanghai, China, UK, Japan, Dubai, USA, and Vietnam, and the company is expanding its globalization blueprint to the world.
