Is it easy to find a job for the specialty of medical imaging technology? Medical imaging major is still relatively easy to find a job. There are few people studying this major, the competition is not so fierce, and the requirements for it are relatively low under the same conditions.
Medical imaging technology is a major in Chinese universities. The major of medical imaging technology mainly trains senior medical professionals who have the basic theoretical knowledge and ability of basic medicine, clinical medicine and modern medical imaging, and can engage in medical imaging diagnosis, interventional radiology and medical imaging technology in medical and health units.
Medical imaging technology mainly studies the basic knowledge and skills of basic medicine, clinical medicine, human sectional anatomy, medical imaging technology and equipment, and carries out the examination and diagnosis of medical imaging and the maintenance and management of related equipment. Common medical imaging techniques include: CT, B-ultrasound, X-ray, magnetic resonance imaging, angiocardiography, Doppler ultrasound and so on.
The course system includes medical physics, basic imaging physics, basic electronics, human anatomy, pathology, human sectional anatomy, medical imaging equipment, medical imaging technology, medical imaging diagnostics and interventional radiology.
CT(ComputedTomography), namely Computed Tomography, uses accurately collimated X-rays, gamma rays, ultrasonic waves, etc. And perform cross-sectional scanning around a specific part of the human body together with a high-sensitivity detector. It has the characteristics of fast scanning time and clear image, and can be used for the examination of many diseases.
According to the different rays used, it can be divided into X-ray CT(X-CT) and γ-ray CT(γ-CT).
CT uses X-ray beam to scan a certain thickness layer of human body. X-rays passing through this layer are received by the detector, converted into visible light, converted into electrical signals by photoelectric conversion, converted into digital by analog-digital converter, and input into a computer for processing.
The process of image formation is like dividing the selected layer into several cuboids with the same volume, which are called voxels.
