Precautions for using the lithium battery of Glory Swarm (swarm) planting drone
The swarm (swarm) polymer lithium battery adopts the patented formula and the new production process, which can improve the cycle life of the battery and the battery's safety. Please read this manual carefully to avoid personal injury and property damage.
I. Use
1. Make sure the battery is fully charged before each flight.
2. If the aircraft enters the low battery alarm mode, land and stop flying as soon as possible to replace the battery.
3. It is strictly prohibited to use bulging, leaking, or damaged batteries. If any of the above occurs, please contact the manufacturer or its authorized agent for further processing.
4. The battery should be used at room temperature between -10℃ and 40℃. Excessive temperature (higher than 50℃) will cause the battery to bulge and even catch fire. If the temperature is too low (below -10℃), the battery life will be seriously damaged.
5. It is prohibited to disassemble or puncture the battery with sharp objects in any way. Otherwise, it will cause the battery to bulge or even catch fire.
6. It is prohibited to short-circuit the positive and negative terminals of the battery with wires or other metal objects.
7. Do not shock the battery. Do not place heavy objects on the battery or charger.
2. Charging
1. It is recommended to use a reliable lithium battery charger with balance charging function produced by regular manufacturers. The charging cut-off voltage of swarming lithium battery is 4.2V, please do not over-voltage charging.
2. Charging temperature between 10℃-45℃; standard charging current 1C; maximum 2C (no more than 2C) charging, 2C charging temperature range between 10℃-35℃.
3. When charging, please place the battery and charger on a concrete floor or other floor with no flammable or combustible materials around. Please pay attention to the charging process to prevent accidents.
4. It is prohibited to charge the battery immediately after the flight of the aircraft. At this time, the battery is in a high temperature state, and forced charging will cause serious damage to the battery life, it is recommended to wait until the battery is down to room temperature before charging. It is prohibited to charge the battery in an environment below 0℃ or when the temperature of the battery itself is below 0℃, and the recommended charging environment temperature is 10℃-40℃.
5. Disconnect the charger from the battery after charging. Regularly check and maintain the charger, and frequently check the battery's cells, plugs and other components. Do not use a damaged charger as it may damage the battery.
6. Batteries that are bulging, deformed, leaking or have a voltage below 3.0V should not be charged.
7.3C current discharge cutoff voltage is 3.5V, 3C to 5C current discharge cutoff voltage is 3.3V, 5C or more limit discharge voltage is 3.3V, please select the appropriate cutoff voltage according to the actual power consumption of your aircraft, if you are not sure about the drone current, please use the 3.5V cutoff voltage, which is a safe voltage, and it does not affect the life of the battery in most occasions. This voltage is safe and will not affect the battery life in most occasions. Note: For plant protection drone or cargo drone, please use the final landing current to calculate the discharge cutoff voltage.
Three, Storage and Transportation
1, please do not assemble, disassemble the battery privately, please store the battery out of children's reach. If a child accidentally swallows parts, please seek medical assistance immediately.
2, lithium battery storage environment temperature of -5 ℃ ~ 35 ℃, relative temperature is not greater than 75% of the clean, dry, ventilated indoor, should be avoided and corrosive substances in contact with, away from sources of ignition and heat, prohibited to put the battery near the heat source of the place, such as sunshine direct sunlight or hot days of the car, the source of fire or heating furnace. The ideal storage temperature of the battery is 22℃-28℃.
3. The environment where the battery is stored should be kept dry. Do not place the battery in water or in a place where water may leak.
4. Prohibit mechanical impact, crushing, puncturing the battery, dropping the battery or short-circuiting it artificially.
5. If you do not use the battery for more than 10 days, please keep the battery at about 50% of its capacity to extend the battery life. It is recommended to store the battery in a dedicated battery compartment. If the battery is not used for a long time, please charge the voltage to about 3.8V to save the voltage. You can use the charger standard lithium polymer battery charging and discharging to storage voltage function.
6. Do not store the battery for a long time after discharging to avoid the battery entering into an over-discharge state, resulting in damage to the battery cell, which will not be able to resume use.
Four, waste
1, be sure to completely discharge the battery after the battery, the battery will be placed in the designated recycling box. Batteries are hazardous chemicals and should not be disposed of in the trash. Please follow your local battery recycling and disposal laws and regulations for details.
