Kunming Health Vocational College, based on the former Yunnan Orthopedic and Traumatology Secondary School, was approved by the People's Government of Yunnan in 2011 and established for the record by the Ministry of Education of the People's Republic of China. It is a full-time higher vocational college established for the record, and is the first privately-run medical college in Yunnan. The college is located in Jinning District, Kunming, the hometown of the great navigator Zheng He and the new international recreation and tourism area of Kunming. The college operates four levels of higher vocational colleges, five-year colleges, adult colleges and general junior colleges, with 17 enrollment majors, 11 secondary colleges of public ****, basic, nursing, clinical, dental, testing, pharmacy, imaging, traditional Chinese medicine, Marxism and continuing education, and enrolls students from more than 20 provinces and municipalities across the country, with 32,449 students currently enrolled.
