(A) Equipment
Induction electrotherapy is the same as direct current electrotherapy in terms of instruments (induction current electrotherapy machine), wires, metal electrode plates, pads, and electrode fixation supplies. However, in induction electrotherapy, the electrodes used are also handle electrodes, rolling electrodes and so on.
(2) treatment method
1. The operation method and precautions of induction electrotherapy are basically similar to those of direct-current electrotherapy, except that the liner can be slightly thinner. It is not easy to accurately calculate the therapeutic dose of inductive current, generally divided into strong, medium and weak three, strong amount of visible muscle contraction; medium amount of visible muscle contraction; weak amount of no muscle contraction, but the patient has a feeling.
2. Commonly used therapeutic methods include
(1) Fixation method: two equal-sized electrodes (point, small or large electrodes) are placed on both sides or both ends of the lesion (juxtaposition method), or placed opposite to each other on the treatment site (opposite method), or the main electrode is placed on the neuromuscular point of movement, and the sub-electrode is placed on the relevant muscular segmental area.
(2) Mobile method Handle electrode or rolling electrode in the movement point, acupuncture point or lesion area mobile stimulation (can also be fixed for intermittent stimulation); another piece of electrode (about 100cm2) placed in the corresponding parts of the fixed.
(3) Electrical excitation method Two round electrodes (diameter 3cm) in the acupoints, movement points or lesion area back and forth mobile or temporary moment fixed a point for intermittent stimulation.
