Spring machines have three axes, five axes and multiple axes. What's the difference between spring machines with different shafts?

Three-axis spring machine: In the past, most of the spring machine equipment was based on three axes, namely, feed spool, camshaft and rotating spindle, with relatively limited molding function. It uses a single servo motor to control the wire feeding part, and all eight cams on the panel are driven and controlled by one servo motor. Each corner-folding knife can only shape the corner in a single plane, and its forming function is relatively limited, and it needs to manually adjust the cam phase, which is complicated to debug.

Five-axis spring machine: this is developed on the basis of three-axis spring machine, which is similar to three-axis spring machine in most cases, but the rotating shaft and crankshaft are added on the basis of the original three-axis, which makes each angle-folding knife of spring machine equipment not limited to a single plane, but can form a three-dimensional angle, with strong forming function and more complicated forming.

Multi-axis cam-less spring machine: Compared with the above two kinds of spring machines, each cam on the panel is driven and controlled by an independent servo motor, making it easier to debug the equipment and greatly improving the production and processing efficiency.

The difference in the number of shafts of the spring machine has a great influence on the machining and efficiency, and these differences in use will also be reflected in the price. The price of multi-spindle cam-less spring machine is relatively high, so enterprises should choose reasonably according to their own needs when purchasing spring machine equipment.
