How to categorize tourist attractions

China's tourist attractions can be divided in different ways from different perspectives, and can be broadly categorized into the following eight types in terms of their main landscapes:

4, landscape scenic area (Guilin Lijiang River, the Yangtze River Three Gorges, Wuyi Jiuqu Stream);

5, seaside scenic area (Hainan, the end of the world, Xiamen, Dalian);

6, recreation and health resort (Hebei, Beidaihe, Jiangxi Mount Lushan);

7, religious temples and scenic spots (Jiuhua Mountain, Dunhuang Mogao Grottoes, Luoyang Longmen, Songshan, Wudang Mountain, etc.);

8, revolutionary memorial sites (Yan'an, Shixian, Xibaipo, Zunyi).
