Recently, there were no casualties in the fire at the purchasing station in Chongqing, and the cause of the fire was unknown
In the early morning of 17th, a fire broke out at a waste purchasing station in Chengdong Street, Qianjiang District, which was put out by fire officers and soldiers in time, but fortunately no casualties were caused.
The fire broke out at Group 4 (Shangtoushan), Guanba Community, Chengdong Street, Qianjiang District, Chongqing. At 2: 49 in the morning, after receiving the alarm, the Qianjiang District Public Security Fire Brigade immediately dispatched officers and men of Xinhua Squadron to the scene to put out the fire.
at 3 o'clock in the morning, fire officers and soldiers arrived at the scene of the fire and found that the fire was in a state of fierce burning, and the fire was relatively large. After asking the police, it was learned that there were rubber, plastic and other waste materials stored in the burning waste collection station.
In response, fire officers and soldiers immediately put out the fire, while using foam guns to control the fire and prevent it from spreading, while isolating and transferring unburned rubber, plastic and other sundries beside the fire.
Because the waste collection station that caught fire is located on a remote hillside, there are no fire hydrants and other water sources nearby, and the roads are relatively narrow, fire officers and soldiers can only use multiple fire engines to transport water back and forth from the urban area for fire fighting.
After more than half an hour of hard fighting by fire officers and soldiers, the fire was effectively controlled and the open flame was gradually extinguished. In order to prevent re-ignition, fire officers and soldiers used fire hooks to open the accumulated plastic and other waste products one by one, and constantly sprayed water to cool down, doused the residual Mars, and carefully cleaned up the residual fire.
the fire was completely extinguished until 8 o'clock in the morning. The fire caused no casualties.
At present, the cause of the fire is under further investigation.
Remind everyone
1. There are many hot and rainy days in summer, and household electricity consumption increases, which is prone to fire caused by overload and heating of wires and appliances. Choose electrical equipment and wires reasonably, and don't connect wires without permission. Don't use copper wires and aluminum wires instead of fuses. Wires should be laid in sleeves. If the wire is found to be aging and the insulation layer is damaged, it should be replaced or repaired in time.
2. Don't overload electricity. When using a mobile patch panel, be sure to check the marked current value and know its maximum power load. Don't plug too many high-power appliances into a patch panel at the same time. Don't continue to use electrical appliances beyond the prescribed period of time.
3. Pay attention to the normal operation of the contact at the connection of the line or equipment, so as to avoid overheating of the equipment due to weak connection or poor contact.
4. Fire extinguishers, smoke masks, independent smoke detectors and other fire-fighting facilities should be equipped at home, which will help to find fires in time at ordinary times, especially in the middle of the night, for disposal or evacuation.
5. When a fire breaks out in electrical equipment, try to cut off the power and put out the fire. If it is impossible to cut off the power in time and it is necessary to put out the fire with electricity, dry powder, carbon dioxide fire extinguisher and other non-conductive fire extinguishing equipment should be used to put out the fire, and water should not be used directly.
