Industrial noise standard

The industrial noise standard is: 60dB in the daytime and 50dB at night.

Industrial noise refers to the noise generated by the operation of mechanical equipment. According to its noise source characteristics, it can be divided into airflow noise, mechanical noise and electromagnetic noise.

Harm of industrial noise:

1, which affects rest and work. During rest, the ambient noise is required to be less than 45dB, and if it is greater than 63.8dB, it is difficult to fall asleep;

2. Damage to auditory organs The adaptability of human auditory organs is limited. Working under strong noise for a long time will cause hearing fatigue and hearing loss;

3. Noise that causes cardiovascular diseases can make sympathetic nerves nervous, which is manifested by accelerated heartbeat, arrhythmia, blood pressure fluctuation and positive increase of ECG test;

4. The influence of noise on nervous system will cause neurasthenia syndrome, such as headache, dizziness, insomnia, dreaminess and memory loss.

legal ground

People's Republic of China (PRC) Environmental Protection Law

Article 42 Enterprises, institutions and other producers and operators that discharge pollutants shall take measures to prevent and control environmental pollution and harm caused by waste gas, waste water, waste residue, medical waste, dust, malodorous gas, radioactive substances, noise, vibration, light radiation and electromagnetic radiation generated in production, construction or other activities.

Enterprises and institutions that discharge pollutants shall establish a responsibility system for environmental protection, and clarify the responsibilities of the person in charge of the unit and relevant personnel.

Key pollutant discharge units shall install and use monitoring equipment in accordance with relevant state regulations and monitoring norms, ensure the normal operation of monitoring equipment, and keep original monitoring records.

It is strictly prohibited to illegally discharge pollutants through concealed pipes, seepage wells, seepage pits, perfusion or tampering with or forging monitoring data, or through the abnormal operation of pollution prevention facilities to avoid supervision.

People's Republic of China (PRC) Environmental Noise Pollution Prevention Act

Article 23 whoever discharges industrial noise into the surrounding living environment within the city limits shall conform to the environmental noise emission standards set by the state at the boundary of industrial enterprises.
