The working principle of the electric precipitator
The electric precipitator is a dust removal device that uses a strong electric field to ionize the gas, i.e., to produce corona discharge, which in turn charges the dust and separates the dust from the gas under the action of the electric field force. The method of separating suspended dust particles in the gas with electric dedusting mainly includes the following complex and interrelated physical processes: applying high voltage, generating a strong field, ionizing the gas, and generating corona discharge; charging of suspended dust particles; charging dust particles to the electrodes under the action of the electric field force; charging dust particles in the electric field to be arrested; and vibration dust removal.
