Remote vision company business collapse how to get money back?

A domestic company that operates an O2O platform for telemedicine consortiums, Remote Vision, has attracted many county hospitals to join it by saying that "you don't need to spend any money to provide a site, you can use the medical equipment for free and enjoy the talent support of famous hospitals in Beijing". Recently, the company "collapsed" due to operational difficulties, resulting in hundreds of millions of dollars of debt owed by more than 1,000 public hospitals across the country. At present, representatives from hospitals around the country to the company's location in the hope of defending the rights and interests of hospitals. At present, the relevant departments have intervened in the investigation.

Propaganda that cooperation does not cost money

Numerous public hospitals to join

"Do not spend a penny, only need to provide space, you can use free medical equipment, and enjoy the talent support of the well-known hospitals in Beijing."......These taglines are tempting for county-level public hospitals that lack capital and technology.

According to public information, Beijing Remote Vision Technology Group Co., Ltd. was founded in 2012, is a domestic remote medical consortium O2O platform.

Industrial and commercial information shows that Remote Vision has 59 of its own risks, 97 peripheral risks and 126 warning reminders. It had also been labeled by the court in February and May this year as an enterprise in default of execution,**** with 23 financial leasing contract disputes.

President Cai of Hunan Zhuzhou Bryan District Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine told the Beiqing Daily, "The hospital can't afford (medical equipment) and doesn't have the savings." After finding the program cost-effective, President Cai's hospital agreed to work with Remote Vision. The financial leasing company finances the purchase of the equipment, and the hospital obtains diagnosis and treatment income through the medical equipment, with a cooperation period of five years. The term of the cooperation is five years. 25% of the diagnosis and treatment income is used to return the principal and interest of the financial lease, and after the principal and interest of the financial lease are repaid, the medical equipment belongs to the hospital. In addition to the equipment, the hospital also receives 25% of the treatment revenue. If the income from treatment is not enough to fulfill the repayment plan, TeleVision will be responsible for guaranteeing and advancing the shortfall.

Doubt in contract signing

Currently a number of hospitals are in debt

After the contract was signed, the medical equipment was delayed and the hospitals were required to repay the lease payments as scheduled. "We signed the cardiovascular program total **** is 30 million, but the hospital's annual profit is less than 1 million, this figure is fatal to us." President Cai said, "There are more than 20 hospitals in Hunan Province **** cooperate with remote vision."

Several other hospitals have encountered similar situations, including the People's Hospital of Jiayin County in Yichun City, Heilongjiang Province. In 2017, the first time a businessman from Remote Vision came to the hospital to introduce the project, President Yang did not pay attention to it out of caution. Later, the hospital's vice president of business learned about the details of the project at one of Remote Vision's conferences and conveyed to President Yang that, in addition to the free use of medical equipment, doctors from a well-known hospital in Beijing would come to the hospital regularly to perform surgeries, and hospital employees would be able to go to Beijing for training.

Director Yang thought the project was good, and he also inspected the hospitals that cooperated with Telesight, "We are in a remote area here, and it takes the people two and a half hours to go to the nearest tertiary hospital. Through this program, those patients who have heart surgery can get initial treatment at their doorstep." Dr. Yang said.

But when signing the contract, Dean Yang noticed something unusual about it, "How come it's an advance payment? This is inconsistent with the advertised 'no money out of pocket'." After raising objections, Dr. Yang received feedback that Distance Vision had signed contracts with other hospitals in the same way, and the hospitals did not have to pay. However, after signing the contract, Director Yang was asked to sign a "Goods Acceptance Form" to confirm that "all equipment has arrived". The director once again questioned, but remote vision responded, "you do not sign, the financing company will not give us money, other hospitals are so signed."

Three months later, Dean Yang did not wait for the medical equipment on the contract, but received a demand note from the finance leasing company. After communicating with TeleVision several times, the hospital still had to repay 11.5 million yuan.

In addition to President Cai and President Yang, a number of hospital directors told the Beiqing Daily reporter about their similar encounters. Yesterday, the Beiqing Daily reporter from the remote vision of an agent to obtain a statistical table, which shows that the country **** there are 920 hospitals due to the remote vision of the business model owes a huge amount of debt, the amount of debt is far more than 6 billion. Beiqing Daily reporter noted that these hospitals are mostly county-level public hospitals, located in Sichuan, Shandong, Guizhou, Heilongjiang, Shanxi, Hebei, Chongqing and other provinces and cities.

The company involved is empty

Employees' wages are also owed

"The company has no one, and has been owing us wages since February." An employee of the remote vision company told the North China Youth Daily reporter that the company's operation is unsustainable due to the break of the capital chain, and the employees are owed wages for several months, and the old employees have resigned in full.

On August 13, a group of people who came to collect debts gathered in the headquarters building of Remote Vision Technology Group in Beijing's Fengtai District. Among them were a number of presidents of various public hospitals across the country. However, the debt collection did not pay off, remote vision technology group's office workstations are empty. And the scene of the agent Wang Cailiang told the Beiqing Daily reporter, "before coming can still find a few responsible staff, now the whole company only the front desk has two staff, and is newly recruited, it is not at all clear that this company before the situation."
