He was enrolled at the Sichuan Conservatory of Music in 1988 and studied under the tutelage of Mr. Zeng Chengwei, the sixth-generation master of the Shu School of Guqin in the following year.
In 1992, she graduated from Sichuan Conservatory of Music and stayed in the school as a teacher until now, Dai Ru focuses on the combination of teaching, communication and scientific research, and has taught more than a hundred students of yangqin and guqin.
In 1998, Dai Ru visited Australia, and was the soloist and lecturer of yangqin and guqin in all kinds of concerts and public teaching during the visit.
In the same year, she was the soloist and lecturer for the Yangqin in the series of albums "Chinese National Instrumental Music" published by New Era Audio and Video Company, which was recommended by the State Education Commission as a popularized teaching material for primary and middle schools on national music.
After 10 years of learning the qin, he traveled in the qin world and was instructed by famous masters of all major schools, especially by Mr. Li Xiangting, Mr. Gong Yi, Mr. Cheng Gongliang, and Mr. Wu Wenguang, and benefited greatly from their guidance, which was indispensable to the formation of his own style.
