The 23-kilometer trail is too long to walk all at once. The Xiamen Mountain and Sea Health Trail starts at the Cruise Terminal and ends at Guanyinshan Dream Beach. It connects important ecological nodes in the north-central part of Xiamen Island, forming a mountain and sea walking corridor running east-west across the island. Along the string of eight mountains and three water (Huwei Mountain, Xianyue Mountain, Yuanshan, Lingxue Mountain, Hutoushan, Jinshan, Huzai Mountain, Guanyin Mountain, ___ Lake, Hubin Reservoir, Wujianwan).
There are also four viewing platforms along the trail, located at Huwei Mountain and Xianyue Mountain. From the viewing platforms, you can not only climb to the top to see the turquoise sea, but also overlook landmarks such as ___ Lake and Huwei Mountain Weather Station from a high altitude.
Interestingly, some of the viewing platforms have transparent glass floors, and walking on the platforms gives you the enjoyment of jumping on the clouds.
The official APP of Xiamen Shanhai Health Trail shows that the entrances and exits along the whole trail are divided into three levels, with the main entrance and exit as the first level, the branch entrances and exits as the second level, and the smaller entrances and exits along the trail as the third level. Among them, there are 10 first-class entrances and exits.
First Floor Exit 1
Cruise Ship Plaza (not yet open)
The entrance and exit of Cruise Ship Plaza is not yet open.
The entrance and exit of the Cruise Plaza is the beginning of the western side of the walkway, adjacent to the Xiamen International Cruise Center, and connected to the elevator tower through the elevated approach bridge on Dudong Road. The elevator tower is 40 meters high and is not yet operational. The entrance is still under construction.
