The Battlefield V medic's ability to give someone a shot is a first aid function that requires you to click on the character's square, the guide is as follows:
The medic doesn't have the option of a needle anymore, instead he walks up to the person who has fallen down and holds down the square to perform the first aid, which will be animated, and you can see the medic inserting the needle into the human body. Releasing the square before the first aid is completed will result in a no first aid status (cancel).
Each type of soldier can pick up a medkit from a medical station, and press and hold the up button to replenish their own blood. Medics hold an unlimited number of recharge packs for themselves.
