Ficus virgata
Ficus virgata: a small shrub of Ficus in Moraceae, with a height of 2 meters and violin-shaped or obovate leaves. It has high ornamental value and medicinal value and is a good foliage plant.
growth habit:
Ficus virgata is native to tropical America, Viet Nam and China. Usually born in mountains, wilderness or scrub. I like a warm, humid and sunny environment. The suitable temperature for growth is 2~35℃, and the moisture requires that it be wet rather than dry.
Maintenance method:
1. Soil: Choose a deep flowerpot with broken bricks and coarse sand at the bottom to 1/4, which is beneficial to drainage; The soil can be mixed with 4 parts of humus soil, 4 parts of garden soil, 1.5 parts of river sand and .5 part of retted cake fertilizer powder.
2. illumination: it needs sufficient illumination. In summer, it is hot and sunny. In order to prevent the leaves from burning, it should be shaded in time.
3. Moisture: It likes to be wet. It should keep the soil moist in the growing season, and spray water around it frequently in summer, but pay attention to wipe off the water on the leaves in time! At other times, you should see dry and wet, and pour it thoroughly at one time and slowly.
4. Fertilization: thin cake is fertilized once a month during the growth period, and 3-5 pieces of horseshoe slices can be cut and buried in the king, which not only increases the fertilizer content, but also prevents the horseshoe slices from burning the roots when fermenting the leather, and stops fertilizing during the dormancy period.
5. Pot changing: large Ficus virgata plants should be changed once every two years, and small and medium-sized plants should be changed once a year.
