Nursing Adverse Events*** are divided into several categories

Adverse nursing events are categorized into first-degree adverse events, second-degree adverse events, and third-degree adverse events.

I. First-degree adverse events

refers to the events that have occurred, resulting in the patient's death, disability, tissue and organ damage leading to functional impairment, aggravation of the condition, delayed recovery, or one of the following circumstances, that is, the nursing fault behavior triggered by the valid complaints or disputes; outbreaks of hospital-acquired infections; surgical identity site identification errors; surgical instruments left in the body; patients due to accidental death.

Two, secondary care adverse events

means the events that have occurred and increased the patient's pain, but has no effect on the patient's condition and treatment results, and the degree of harm to the patient of the event is divided into no harm, mild harm, moderate harm and severe harm, in addition to the above 10 categories of cases in the case of the 8 categories and 9 categories of cases.

Three, tertiary care adverse events

Refers to hidden events, is due to inadvertent or real-time intervention, adverse events did not really occur or the event did not involve the patient, or non-nursing behavior caused by the event (such as public **** facilities events, medical equipment and devices events).

Categorization of adverse events:

I. Adverse treatment

Includes medication administration errors, blood transfusion errors, medical infection outbreaks, incorrect identification of surgical identity sites, surgical instruments left in the body, and transfusion reactions.

II.Accidents

Includes falls, falling out of bed, wandering, scalds, burns, self-inflicted injuries, suicides, fires, thefts, biting through thermometers, and poor restraints.

III. Doctor-patient communication incidents

Includes doctor-patient altercations, physical assaults, fights, and violent behavior.

Fourth, dietary skin care adverse events

Including aspiration/asphyxiation, swallowing foreign objects, nosocomial pressure ulcers, medically induced skin injuries,

Fifth, adverse auxiliary diagnostic examination, patient transfer events

Containing misidentification, loss of specimens, sudden changes in condition or accidents during or after examination or transport.

Six, pipeline care adverse events

Containing pipeline slippage, patient self-extraction.

VII. Occupational exposure

Contains needlestick injuries and cuts.

VIII. Public **** Facility Incident

Includes destruction of hospital buildings, malfunctioning of ward facilities, vandalism, and hazardous material spills.

nine, medical equipment and instruments incident

including medical material failure, instrument failure, instruments do not meet the sterility requirements.

Ten, the supply room adverse events

including sterilization items did not meet the requirements, heat source test positive, operation found in the instrument package instrument items do not match.
