During the Three Kingdoms period, the founder of Cao Wei, Han Prime Minister Cao Cao, with the word "Mengde," had called on 18 vassals to fight against Dong Zhuo, suppress the Yellow Turban Uprising, capture Lu Bu, battle Yuan Shao, collect Jingzhou, subdue Zhang Lu, seize Yongliang, subdue the South Xiongnu and so on, and his achievements in civilization and martial arts were directly comparable to those of Qin Emperor and Han Emperor Wu. However, he suffered from headaches and unfortunately passed away on March 15, 220 A.D. at the age of 66 years.
If Cao Cao had been given another ten years, he might have unified China and returned to the rule of Emperor Xian of Han, ending the Three Kingdoms strife ahead of schedule. So, is it possible to cure Cao Cao's headache disease using modern times? In fact, placed in the highly developed medical care of modern times, Cao Cao's headache disease can not be cured, based on the play and "Three Kingdoms" analyzed as follows, and came up with three reasons.
First, Cao Cao's headache was caused by his efforts to unify the world. Cao Cao began his campaign to pacify the Yellow Turbans in 184 A.D., the Eighteen Vassals' crusade against Dong Zhuo in 190 A.D., his fight against Lv Bu, Yuan Shao, Liu Bei, and Yuan Yu, his expedition against the Wuhuan, his taking of Jingzhou in a bloodless battle, his fierce battle against the Sun-Liu alliance at the Battle of Red Cliffs, the pacification of Han Sui and Ma Chao at Xiliang, and his fight with Liu Bei for Hanzhong. Cao Cao fought more battles in his life than anyone else has ever eaten rice, and went through countless wars before unifying half of the world.
He did all this in order to save the people of the world, restore the Han dynasty, and revive the Han glory of "those who violate my strong Han will be executed even if they are far away". Cao Cao's thirty years of military service drained his heart and soul, and he became ill with a headache.
This disease is the accumulation of Cao Cao, not overnight, therefore, in ancient times, this belongs to the overworked headache caused by the disease, is very difficult to cure. Even in today's highly developed medical care, only on the surgical operation has the effect of "surgery to remove the disease", on Cao Cao such a long years of difficult and complicated disease, can not do anything about it.
Secondly, Cao Cao's headache was caused by Guan Gong's "possession" and then aggravated by Queen Fu and Dong Gui Ren. In the story, Cao Cao was given the head of Guan Yu by Wu after he was captured and killed. Cao Cao was terrified by the "possessed" Guan Yu, and was so horrified that he hastened to set up a "sacrificial offering, carve incense wood for his body, in the rites of a prince," and bury it outside of Luoyang, where he personally worshipped it, and posthumously crowned it King of Jing. After Cao Cao was terrorized by the "Pear Tree God" in his sleep, his old headaches returned, and he sought out Hua Tuo, who had cured Zhou Tai and Guan Yu.
Hua Tuo had to use a sharp axe to cut open Cao Cao's head and take out the wind saliva in order to cure him completely. When Cao Cao heard this, he thought to himself how can I live when my brain is split open? Since the murder of Imperial Doctor Ji Ping had happened before, he suspected that Hua Tuo was also trying to murder himself and had him imprisoned.
After Cao Cao imprisoned Hua Tuo, he was left without a miraculous doctor to cure him, and his headache grew worse by the day. He was in a trance, and in his sleep, he saw the cloaked and bloodstained Empress Fu, Dong Guiren, Fu Wan, Dong Cheng, Kong Rong, Yang Xiu, and Ma Teng, and more than twenty others standing in the air, appearing and disappearing, and asking for their lives. Cao Cao's illness became more and more serious, and he was so sick that it was difficult for the immortals to save him, and he finally died. Suddenly heard the sound of the temple like cracking, drill startled to see, suddenly saw Fu Huangfu, Dong Guiren, the second prince, and Fu Wan, Dong Cheng and other twenty people, covered with blood stains, standing within the clouds of sadness, vaguely heard the sound of life.
Sayings such as manifestation and life-saving exist in the play, but in reality, Cao Cao has a ghost in his heart, and he has done too many wrongdoings in the past, and in his old age, he is paranoid and suspicious, leading to insanity. This kind of disease in modern times, is also a difficult disease, "heart disease must be heart medicine doctor", modern developed medical treatment is not omnipotent.
Third, Cao Cao was worried about the country and the people, and the hegemony was not yet achieved, and finally the headache disease recurred. Cao Cao's lifelong desire was to wipe out the local strongholds, suppress the power of the scholars, revitalize the Han dynasty, and fight for the unification of China for the rest of his life. However, in Cao Cao's later years, this wish had not yet been fully realized, and he died in peace. He spent his whole life worrying about the country and the people, always hoping for the unification of the world, which is best depicted by the saying "The Duke of Zhou spits out his words, and the world returns to him".
In 220 AD, Cao Cao, who was already in his twilight years, closed his eyes and thought back to his life, in which he assassinated Dong Zhuo, rose up to attack Dong Zhuo in Chenliu, punished the local strongmen, and issued the "Seek the Virtuous Order" three times, which was based on merit and the implementation of the cantonment system. Cao Cao for the Han dynasty has been broken heart, and now there are still Jiangdong Sun Quan, Yizhou Liu Bei and a few other forces, but I hate their own health is not as good as before, not to serve the old can not be ah.
What Cao Cao is thinking is that if he is given another ten years, the destruction of Jiangdong and Yizhou will be just around the corner, and he will be able to live up to his predecessor, Emperor Han Lingdi, and the great general He Jin. Now that Cao Cao's life had come to an end, and he still had a great cause to fulfill, it would have been nice if God had given him another ten years. Unfortunately, this was Cao Cao's last hope. Cao Cao, who was worried about the country and the people, suffered a recurrence of the headaches he had suffered earlier in his life, and this time he could not cross the threshold. Therefore, after making his will, Cao Cao let out a long sigh and soon died at the age of 66.
After making his will, Cao Cao let out a long sigh and burst into tears. After a short while, he died. He was sixty-six years old. The first month of the spring of the twenty-fifth year of Jian'an was also.
