Main Business
Polyurethane Division
Polyurethane Division is mainly responsible for the domestic and overseas sales of MDI, TDI, modified MDI and its system materials, soft and hard foam polyethers, EOD research and development, production and sales. The products are mainly used in construction, household appliances, automobiles, home furnishings, leather and shoes, sporting goods, coal mine safety, engineering machinery, textile printing and dyeing, solar water heaters, panels, spraying, reefer containers, wood imitation, pipeline thermal insulation, elastomers, adhesives, daily necessities, pharmaceuticals, and agriculture.
Functional Chemicals Division
Functional Chemicals Division is responsible for business planning, product development, production and operation, and market development of functional fine chemicals, with production bases in Yantai, Ningbo and Czech Republic. It has a wide range of product series such as aliphatic isocyanate series (HDI, HDI adducts, HMDI, IPDI, XDI, H6XDI), specialty amine series (MDA, MDBA, H12MDA, IPDA, PU catalyst, etc.), fragrance series, and special functional chemicals (IP, MIBK, CDT).
Emerging Technology Division
Emerging Technology Division is committed to the research and development, production, sales and service of environmentally friendly surface materials & new energy materials, has formed a waterborne polyurethane (PUD), waterborne acrylic (PA), modified polyurethane (PUA), waterborne light curing (UV), waterborne two-component (2K), waterborne epoxy (EP), rheology additives ( HEUR and HASE), silicone, Soft Bioderived Beads, Super Absorbent Resin (SAP), Reverse Osmosis Membrane (RO), Nanofiltration Membrane (NF), Hollow Fiber (HF), Adsorbent Resin (AR), and Lithium-ion Battery Positive Materials, with fifteen R & D platforms, and the product fields covering construction materials, industrial coatings and other fields.
New Materials Division
New Materials Division is part of Wanhua Chemical's Functional Materials Solutions business segment, which mainly consists of thermoplastic polyurethane elastomers (TPUs) and polymethylmethacrylate (PMMA). Thermoplastic Polyurethane Elastomer (TPU) - an international advanced TPU supplier, widely used in footwear, tubing, cable, engineering, civil products, construction, automotive, medical, 3C and adhesive applications. Poly(methyl methacrylate) (PMMA) - originated from the independent research and development of petrochemical integration MMA industry chain, relying on the leading functional polymer materials R & D platform, to provide PMMA resins and ****blended modified products, widely used in liquid crystal light guide plate, electronic appliances and consumer products and other fields.
Advanced Materials Division
Advanced Materials Division is the application development platform of Wanhua Chemical's high-performance modified materials. Relying on the advantages of upstream and downstream integration of Wanhua Chemical, the division continues to provide customers with stable and high-quality customized material solutions. The business of Advanced Materials Division includes R&D, production, sales and technical support of modified polypropylene (PP), modified polycarbonate (PC), modified silicone*** polycarbonate (Si-PC), modified polymethylmethacrylate (PMMA), modified long-chain nylon (PA12), and modified all-biodegradable plastics, with the applications covering automotive, electronic and electrical appliances, 5G communications, consumer goods, oil and gas, pipelines, cable sheathing, outdoor and outdoor products. Polycarbonate Division
Polycarbonate Division is engaged in the research and development, production and sales service of polycarbonate resins, and is an important part of Wanhua's Functional Materials Solutions segment. Polycarbonate is a thermoplastic engineering plastic with excellent optical transparency, impact resistance, heat resistance, electrical insulation and dimensional stability, and can be further high-performance through ****blended modification, widely used in automotive, electrical and electronic, home appliances, construction, optical, medical and consumer products.
Petrochemical Company
Wanhua Chemical (Yantai) Petrochemical Company Limited is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Wanhua Chemical Group Co. It is mainly responsible for the construction and operation of Wanhua's petrochemical industry platform, and undertakes the procurement of major raw materials for petrochemical products, production, sales and operation management. Relying on the world-class scale PO/AE integrated plant and large ethylene plant, the company continuously broadens the C2, C3 and C4 industrial chain; with 1 million tons/year ethylene and 750,000 tons/year propane dehydrogenation plant as the source, it provides sufficient raw materials for the downstream to realize industrial chain linkage and value chain synergy. Phase I products include: propylene, propylene oxide, MTBE/TBA, high purity isobutylene, diisobutylene, n-butanol, neopentyl glycol, acrylic acid and acrylic esters. The second phase of petrochemical products include: polypropylene, HDPE, LLDPE, PVC, ethylene oxide, styrene and so on. The products are widely used in building materials, home appliances, rubber, oil, coatings, adhesives, plasticizers, SAP, injection molding, blow molding, tubing, film, auto parts, high-end medical equipment and consumer goods.
