The hospital has 8 PLA specialized technical centers, including PLA Neurosurgery Institute, Ophthalmology Center, Cardiothoracic Surgery Center, Cardiovascular Medicine Center, Bone Trauma Treatment Center, Family Planning Eugenic Technology Center, PLA Wuhan Blood Station and Clinical Pharmacology Base. At the same time, there are two research institutes of cardiothoracic surgery and orthopedics in Guangzhou Military Region, radiology, neurology, endocrinology, gastroenterology, respiratory medicine, tumor treatment, general surgery, urology, anesthesia resuscitation, oral diagnosis and treatment, obstetrics and gynecology, information science and other key disciplines, 12 military professional technology center and 1 information training base, as well as nephrology and geriatrics. The hospital has a high degree of informationization, advanced equipment and complete large-scale high-end medical equipment, including 320CT, PET/CT, 64-slice CT, nuclear magnetic resonance, gamma knife, linear accelerator and other modern large-scale medical equipment.
