How to maintain the battery in an electric car
The most unique thing about new energy models is that they have large batteries in the car. In order to ensure the effectiveness of the battery, it is necessary to check the battery regularly. If the charging time becomes longer or the range suddenly becomes shorter during the use of the battery, it is necessary to consider whether the battery has problems. The biggest difference between a pure electric car and a fuel car is the lack of an engine and transmission. However, both the body structure and other parts are the same as pure fuel vehicles. Therefore, pure electric cars also need to follow the principle of 5000 kilometers maintenance. For battery maintenance of electric vehicles, there are several methods: first, avoid direct contact between the battery and metal containers, and use acid- and heat-resistant materials. Otherwise it may cause smoking or burning. Second, charge the battery under specified conditions using a specified charger, otherwise it may cause overheating, deflation, fluid leakage, combustion or rupture. Third, do not install the battery in a sealed device in which the battery is used, otherwise the device pump may be damaged. Especially when batteries are used in medical equipment, a backup power supply should be installed outside of the main power supply to avoid injury caused by failure of the main power supply. Finally, keep the battery away from equipment that can generate sparks to avoid sparks that may cause the battery to smoke or rupture; also avoid placing the battery near a heat source (e.g., a transformer) that could overheat, leak fluid, burn, or rupture.
