What is the unit of the Hospital Authority

The HA is an organization within the National Health Commission of the People's Republic of China*** and the State of China.

The main responsibilities of the HA are as follows:

1, formulate and organize the implementation of policies, norms and standards related to medical institutions, technology application, quality, safety, services, and the management of blood collection and supply institutions;

2, formulate standards of practice and service norms for medical personnel;

3, formulate and oversee the implementation of the management of healthcare institutions and the healthcare industry and direct the implementation of Hospital pharmacy, clinical laboratory management and other work;

4, participate in the management of clinical trials of drugs and medical devices;

5, supervise and guide the assessment and evaluation of medical institutions across the country, and formulate the system of supervision, performance evaluation and assessment of the operation of public hospitals.

The HA has set up the General Division, Medical Resources Division, Medical Institutions Division, Medical Quality Division, Medical and Nursing Division, Medical Safety and Blood Division, Comprehensive Evaluation Division, and Conduct Building Division.

Article 3 Categories of Medical Institutions:

(1) General hospitals, Chinese medicine hospitals, hospitals for combining traditional Chinese medicine with western medicine, ethnomedicine hospitals, specialty hospitals, and rehabilitation hospitals;

(2) Maternal and child health care centers, Maternal and Child Health and Family Planning Service Center;

(3) Community Health Service Centers and Community Health Service Stations;

(4) Central Health Centers, Township (Township) Health Centers, and Street Health Centers;

(5) Nursing Homes;

(6) Comprehensive Outpatient Clinics, Specialized Outpatient Clinics, Traditional Chinese Medicine Clinics, Combined Traditional Chinese Medicine Clinics, and Ethnomedicine Clinics;

(7) General Hospitals, Chinese Medicine Hospitals, Combined Traditional Chinese Medicine Hospitals, Ethnomedical Clinics; and

(vii) clinics, Chinese medicine clinics, ethnic medicine clinics, health clinics, medical clinics, health care clinics, health stations;

(viii) village health offices (offices);

(ix) first aid centers, first-aid stations;

(x) clinical testing centers;

(xi) specialized disease control hospitals, specialized disease control institutes, specialized disease control stations;

(xiii) specialties, specialist diseases control stations;

(xiii) specialties, specialized diseases control institutes, specialized diseases control stations;< / p>

(xii) nursing homes, nursing stations;

(xiii) medical testing laboratories, pathology diagnostic centers, medical imaging diagnostic centers, hemodialysis centers, hospice centers;

(xiv) other diagnostic and treatment institutions. Article 8 Provinces, autonomous regions and municipalities directly under the Central Government should be in accordance with the local "medical institutions set up planning" reasonable allocation and rational use of medical resources.

The "Medical Institution Establishment Planning" shall be formulated by the local health planning administrative departments at or above the county level in accordance with the "Guiding Principles for Medical Institution Establishment Planning", reviewed by the health planning administrative departments at the next higher level, and reported to the people's government at the same level for approval, and then issued and implemented within the administrative region.
