Due to the fact that there are serious policy barriers to the transfer and continuation of pension insurance across provinces, and that migrant workers change jobs across regions or return home relatively quickly, even if they are insured, they often have no choice but to withdraw from the insurance when they leave, which leads to the interruption of the insurance.
Migrant workers are mainly engaged in some city people do not want to do the dirty, tired, bitter, dangerous types of work, production safety is not guaranteed, especially in the construction, mining industry work, can not get the necessary safety protection facilities and protective supplies in a timely manner, the need for industrial accident insurance is particularly strong. However, the county's migrant workers this insurance participation rate of only 27.3%.
According to the survey, 20-40-year-old young adults are the main composition of the migrant labor force. Only 36.9% of migrant workers are covered by health insurance.
