Xinzhou Vocational and Technical College, located in Xinzhou City, Shanxi Province, is a full-time, comprehensive secondary and higher vocational college approved by the Shanxi Provincial People's Government, under the supervision of the Xinzhou Municipal People's Government, and registered with the National Ministry of Education. In 2009, it was rated as a qualified institution by the Higher Vocational College Talent Training Evaluation Committee of the Ministry of Education.
It is one of the key construction projects in Xinzhou City’s “Eleventh Five-Year Plan”. It is one of the only two colleges and universities in Xinzhou City (Xinzhou Vocational College and the Junior College Department of Xinzhou Normal University) and the only non-normal vocational college in Xinzhou City. It is the "leading" base of vocational education in Xinzhou City and the Vocational Education Center of Xinzhou City.
