What are the airports in Hubei Province?

1, Wuhan Tianhe International Airport

Shiyan Wudang Mountain Airport was officially completed and opened to the public on February 5, 2016, and was named Shiyan Wudang Mountain Airport.

3. Shennongjia Airport

Shennongjia Airport is located in Hongping Town, Shennongjia Forestry District, Hubei Province, China, about 78 kilometers straight line distance from Songbai Town, the government of Shennongjia Forestry District, and about 50 kilometers straight line distance from Muji Town, a 4C-class civil transportation airport, the highest elevation of the civil feeder airport in Central China.

November 13, 2008, Shennongjia Airport was approved by the People's Republic of China *** and the State Council Standing Committee of the State Council for the construction of the project; Shennongjia Airport May 8, 2014 officially opened to flights, named Shennongjia Airport.

4, Yichang Three Gorges Airport

Yichang Three Gorges Airport is located in Yichang City, Hubei Province, China, 26 kilometers away from the city center, 55 kilometers away from the Three Gorges Dam, connected to the Yihuang Expressway in the north, the Yangtze River in the south, and the Jiaozhi Railway in the east.?

Yichang Three Gorges Airport was approved by the State Council and the Central Military Commission for the project on January 18, 1993, and was planned according to the 4E standard, and the first phase of the project was constructed according to the 4D standard; the construction was officially started in September 1994, and passed the national completion inspection and acceptance in October 1996, and obtained the license to use the airport and opened to flights on December 28, 1996, which is the first time that Yichang Three Gorges Airport has been built in China.

5, Enshi Xujiaping Airport

Enshi Xujiaping Airport, started construction in 1986, was completed in November 1993 to deliver the new airport, located in Enshi Prefecture, Hubei Province. The airport was designed by the Civil Aviation Zhongnan Airport Design Institute, and the 22nd Engineering Company of the Ministry of Nuclear Industry undertook the field road project. The altitude of the airport is 495m above sea level, and it is 4.5km away from the city center.

6. Xiangyang Liuzhi Airport

Xiangyang Liuzhi Airport, located in Liuzhi Town, Xiangzhou District, Xiangyang City, Hubei Province, China, is a civil airport of class 4D, 18km away from the city center. It is the first civil airport in China to be built by the local government.

Xiangyang Liuzhi Airport was approved by the State Council and the Central Military Commission in 1986, and was constructed according to the standard of Class 4D; on December 14, 1989, it obtained the license for the use of the airport and was officially opened to the public; on January 18, 2005, it was reorganized into Hubei Airport Group, which realized the integration of the airport's air traffic control and ground support operations.
