For special loads and places, leakage protectors should be selected according to their characteristics:
① When installing leakage protectors for medical electrical equipment in hospitals, quick-acting leakage protectors with rated leakage current of 10mA should be selected.
(2) The electrical equipment installed in damp places should use quick-acting leakage protector with rated leakage current of 15-30mA.
(3) The lighting circuits installed in swimming pools, fountains, water amusement parks and bathrooms should use quick-acting leakage protectors with rated leakage current of 10mA.
(4) When working on metal objects and operating hand-held electric tools or portable lamps, quick-acting leakage protectors with rated leakage current of 10mA should be selected.
⑤ Electrical equipment connected with outdoor overhead lines should adopt impulse voltage passive leakage protector.
⑥ The general protection of overhead lines should choose the leakage protector with low sensitivity and delayed action.
