History of Zhejiang Quhua Hospital

On May 29, 1959, the health office and staff hospital (two plates, one set of team) were approved by the party committee of Quhua, and the hospital had six sections including office, internal medicine, surgery, general affairs, and industry and health, with a total number of 50 employees and 13 party members, and Liu Wenshou was the director of the health office and the hospital director. The hospital was located in Building 2 of the Quhua Collective Dormitory, forming the prototype of the hospital, which was then called the Quzhou Chemical Plant Employees' Hospital.

In April 1964, the hospital moved to its present location. At that time, there were more than 80 beds and 152 employees. Due to the small number of medical staff and poor equipment, the hospital was mainly responsible for the prevention and treatment of common diseases.

By the end of 1966, the hospital staff increased to 200 people, 35 members of the party, Hu Hainan for the party branch secretary. Hospital beds also increased to 180, with internal medicine, surgery, obstetrics and gynecology, pharmacy and other departments, as well as a number of health stations in the plant, the same year the establishment of a health epidemiological section, under the Health Department. The whole health care system has begun to take shape. Significant achievements have been made in the rescue of large burns and acute poisoning. The medical program was listed as a major provincial scientific and technological achievements. After the beginning of the "Cultural Revolution", the party and government organizations were hit and paralyzed. The hospital became a stronghold of armed struggle for more than a year, the building, equipment suffered serious damage, medical equipment, medicines, a large number of damage and loss, in spite of this, most of the medical staff still stick to their posts to save lives, insisting on serving the staff.

In September 1968, the Quhua Revolutionary Committee approved the establishment of the hospital's Revolutionary Committee, appointing Hu Hai-nan as the director of the committee, Charta as the first deputy director of the committee, and Cheng Tong-xiang and Wu Hsin-liang as the deputy directors of the committee. in October 1973, the provincial Department of Health approved the hospital as a second-class general hospital.

(4) Removing the hospital's reform committee and restoring the health office (staff hospital)

In 1978, the Quhua Party Committee approved the removal of the hospital's reform committee and the restoration of the health office, with a staff hospital (section-level establishment) and a sanatorium under it. Ma Changrong became the secretary of the general branch of the Party Committee of the Health Division, and Liu Xiowen, Charta and Yang Qiyu became the deputy secretaries; Liu Xiowen became the director of the Health Division, and Ren Zhongyuan and Charta became the deputy directors.

In June 1981, the Party Committee of Quhua approved that the Health Department and the Staff Hospital were established separately, and the Department and the Hospital were relatively independent, each with its own duties. The Health Department was subordinate to the factory organs and was mainly responsible for epidemic prevention, sanitation and family planning, etc. Liu Wenxiu was the director of the Health Department, Charta was the deputy director, and Cheng Lizhong was the secretary of the party branch. The Staff Hospital was responsible for medical work, with Chen Xingshu as the secretary of the Party branch and Yang Qiyu as the deputy secretary; Ren Zhongyuan, Ma Yuanzhang and Liu Yongren were the vice presidents, with Ren Zhongyuan presiding over the work. In April 1983, the Party Committee of Quhua approved the merger of the Department and Hospital, and the system of three plates (Health Department, Staff Hospital and Vocational Defense Institute) and one set of team was implemented. The secretary of the general party branch was acted by Chen Xing, deputy secretary Chen Ruitian; president Song Suoi, vice president Wu Zhaonan, Zhen Charter, Zhou Yueqing. 1983 the hospital was rated as a provincial advanced hospital.

In August 1984, Qu Chemical Plant was renamed Quzhou Chemical Industry Company and the managerial responsibility system was implemented. Qu Chemical Staff Hospital was renamed Qu Chemical Company Staff Hospital. in March 1985, the staff hospital implemented the director's responsibility system. At the same time, Wang Dasen, the manager of Quzhou Chemical Company, appointed Wu Zhaonan as the president, and Charta and Zhou Yueqing as the vice presidents. in March 1986, Song Suu was appointed as the vice president.

In January 1987, Wang Dasen, the manager of Quhua Company, appointed Song Suoi as the dean, Charta and Chen Ruitian as the vice deans, and in July of the same year, Tong Weijin was appointed as the vice dean. With the deepening of China's reform and opening up, the hospital also gradually stepped into the market-oriented track.

In November 1990, a Decta-50FSCT was introduced and put into use (the first one in Zhejiang West Hospital); in that year, the hospital was honored as the best hospital in Zhejiang Province and Quzhou City in the activity of "high-quality medical care and high-quality service".

In January 1992, the second party conference of the Quhua Company Staff Hospital was held in the hospital, and the conference elected the second committee of the Quhua Company Staff Hospital, with Wu Weiyun as the secretary; in January 1992, the Petrochemical Department of Zhejiang Province approved the establishment of the "First Aid Center for Chemical Industry" and the "Labor Environment Monitoring Center" by the Occupational Defense Institute of the Quhua Company. In November 1992, Quzhou Chemical Industry Company was approved by the State Economic and Trade Commission and renamed as Juhua Group Company; on August 11, 1993, chlorine gas leakage occurred in the Electrochemical Plant of Juhua Group Company, and 207 patients were admitted to the hospital*** for poisoning and inhalation, and Zhang Qifang, vice governor of the province, led Yu Huazhi, deputy director of the Department of Health, and Shen Shihong, chief of the Department of Medical Administration, to personally come to the scene to organize and guide the rescue work, and Zhejiang First The First Zhejiang Hospital, the Provincial People's Hospital and the Jinhua Central Hospital sent three teams of experts to Juhua to participate in the rescue work. In 1996, Juhua Labor and Capital [1996] No. 333 approved the abolition of the Health Department. On August 20, 1997, Juhua Group appointed Yan Zheren and Yang Shunjiang as the vice presidents of the Staff Hospital; on December 28, it was approved by the Department of Health as the teaching hospital of Zhejiang Higher Medical School.
