What is a geothermal well

2. Generally speaking, in order to improve the accuracy of geothermal well drilling, we all need to do relevant investigations before preparation. Then some scientific and technological means are used to detect the depth, reserves, properties, flow, location and generation of underground hot water resources, providing first-hand information for geothermal well drilling. At the same time, understand the geological conditions, whether it is suitable for drilling, what drilling technology should be adopted under the corresponding geological conditions, and make a reasonable drilling plan. Doing these "homework before class" well can get twice the result with half the effort in the process of geothermal well drilling, and achieve good results, so that the project can proceed smoothly.
In addition, when we exploit geothermal resources, we should formulate some related management measures. When drilling geothermal wells in this project, we should not only choose the appropriate technology, but also choose the selected equipment and consumables. In the process of drilling, it should be strictly managed and implemented step by step as planned. At the same time, downhole detection should be carried out at any time, and adjustments should be made in time in case of any situation. Avoiding faults and accidents caused by geological problems and improving management level are the guarantee to improve drilling efficiency and ensure the success rate of drilling.
What are the uses of geothermal wells?
First, medical bathing.
Nowadays, geothermal wells are widely used in many places and are very useful. For example, if they are used for medical bathing, the optimum temperature is 40 ~ 60℃. If the temperature is too high, you need to add cold water or lower the temperature properly before you can take a bath. This is a waste of geothermal resources. If the temperature is too low, it will make you feel uncomfortable. Geothermal water used for medical treatment has not only temperature requirements, but also water quality requirements. At present, China adopts the following standards as medical geothermal water, also known as medical mineral water quality standards.
Second, drink mineral water.
In fact, many geothermal wells are from deep low-temperature geothermal water, so they are pure natural and pollution-free. Naturally, they are processed and used as drinking mineral water. It also contains some trace elements beneficial to human health and can be used as drinking natural mineral water. Some drinking natural mineral water developed in China in recent years, a considerable part of which is low-temperature geothermal water. When the pollutant index, microbial index and limit index of lithium, strontium, zinc, copper, chromium and barium in local hot water meet the requirements, one index in the water meets the requirements in Table 2.5.6 and can be developed into drinking natural mineral water.
Third, power generation.
Now many geothermal fields in China use it as a power generation area, so let's find out which places are used for power generation at present. For example: Deng Wu in Guangdong, Grey Soup in Ningxiang, Hunan, Yangbajing in Tibet, Houhao Kiln in Hebei, etc. The power stations built in the above geothermal fields are all experimental power stations except Yangbajing, Tibet, which is put into industrial use.
