Yan'an City People's Hospital is the former Chinese People's Liberation Army Hospital No. 34 on October 10, 1999 after the transfer of the whole to the people's government of Yan'an City was formed and established.
The predecessor of the 34th Hospital of the Chinese People's Liberation Army was the 10th Army Hospital of the Northwest Military Region, which was formed on October 1, 1952, by the Sanitary Office of the Third Division of Cavalry and the Eighth Sanitary Office of Infantry, and was stationed at Willow Lake, outside the west gate of Pingliang County.
In May 1954 the tenth Army Hospital was reorganized into the sixth hospital, under the Ministry of Health of the Logistics Department of the Northwest Military Region.
In October 1970, the Sixth Hospital was withdrawn from Pingliang and stationed in Shilidian, Lanzhou City, for training, and later moved to Lanzhou Medical College. During the period of training, the hospital sent many medical personnel out for further training, laying the foundation of business.
June 13, 1971, the sixth hospital was renamed the 513th Field Hospital. Hospital establishment of 300 beds, 270 personnel. Institutional setup: hospital department, medical office, political office, hospital affairs office and one, two, three, under the Lanzhou military region logistics department of the third base station.
July 1971, President Ren Chengbiao first demobilization group arrived in Yan'an, selecting the site of the camp.
October 1971, the 513th field hospital all withdrew from Lanzhou Medical College, was ordered to the north of Shaanxi province. Along the way in Xi'an, Tongchuan, Huangling, Luochuan, Fu County, Yan'an Liulin Rentai Village and other places stationed, lasted 1 year.
In November 1972, the hospital arrived in Yan'an. The hospital headquarters and one was deployed in Yan'an Qilipu, the second was deployed in Yan'an Chengdong Airport, and the third was formed and deployed in Xiguan, Jingyang County.
From March to July 1977, the three institutes were merged and the whole hospital was centralized in Qilipu, Yan'an. During this period, the hospital is mainly for the selection of camping, self-organized training courses to train medical personnel, the use of an institute to ensure that the 5320 troops to complete the construction of 8711, while the formation of the medical team into the countryside for the northern Shaanxi region of the "three old" (the old Red Army, the old Eighth Route, the old guerrillas) and the masses of people to send doctors and medicines. During this period, the hospital was successively attached to the Lanzhou Military Region Logistics Department, the third base station in Xianyang, Xi'an base station, Lanzhou Military Region Logistics Division 28.
July 12, 1979, the 513th field hospital hospital number changed its name to the Army's 513th Hospital, with an establishment of 312 people. Under the 11 departments, namely: internal medicine, surgery, obstetrics and gynecology, pediatrics, five senses, radiology, physical therapy, testing and pathology, infectious, comprehensive examination section, pharmacy.
September 29, 1983, the Army's 513th Hospital was renamed the People's Liberation Army Hospital No. 34, the beds downsized to 110, downsized to 132 people, the hospital leadership as well as the corresponding reduction in the staff of the three divisions, the departments downsized to six, namely: internal medicine, surgery, radiology, physiotherapy, testing, pharmaceuticals and special diagnostic departments.
December 17, 1986, the hospital organs from the 3 major merged into the office, the establishment of 100 beds, the staff was set to 119 people, under the receiving room, internal medicine, surgery, infectious diseases, radiotherapy, testing, pharmaceuticals, special diagnostic section.
November 1995, the hospital authorities set up a medical office, political office, hospital affairs, with an establishment of 100 beds.
November 1997, in the "big disarmament" policy hospital downsizing again, the abolition of three major offices, the establishment of the hospital office, the establishment of 50 beds.
In March 1999, according to the order of the Central Military Commission, the Chinese People's Liberation Army 34th hospital withdrawn. October 10, the 34th hospital as a whole transferred to the people's government of Yan'an City, the establishment of the new Yan'an City People's Hospital.
