Chapter I General Provisions Article 1 In order to strengthen the management of medical waste, prevent the spread of disease, protect the environment, protect human health, according to relevant laws and regulations, combined with the actual situation in this province, the formulation of these regulations. Article 2 The medical waste referred to in these regulations, refers to medical and health institutions in the medical, preventive, health care and other related activities with direct or indirect infectious, toxic and other hazardous waste.

(b) the staff occupational safety protection system;

(D) collection time, internal and external delivery routes, storage locations and other systems;

(E) generation site, temporary storage site management system;

(F) internal and external handover, transfer management system;

(ix) registration, evaluation, monitoring information file management system;

(x) other management systems that should be developed in accordance with the law.

Medical health institutions and medical waste disposal units to develop a medical waste management system should be reported to the local county-level people's government health administrative department and the administrative department of environmental protection for the record. Article IX medical and health institutions and medical waste disposal units should be engaged in the collection of medical waste, delivery, storage, disposal and other work of personnel and management staff equipped with the necessary protective equipment, an annual health check-up, including direct contact with medical waste personnel every six months; immunization of the personnel concerned, if necessary, to prevent damage to their health. Article 10 medical and health institutions and medical waste disposal units should take effective measures to ensure that the unit of medical waste collection, temporary storage, transportation, disposal of supervision, registration, handover work in line with the relevant national hazardous waste transfer joint management regulations. Article XI of the following circumstances, is the loss, leakage, proliferation of medical waste:

(a) the use of special containers, packaging, storage of medical waste exposed;

(b) the loss of medical waste;

(c) medical waste as domestic garbage, or to the centralized disposal of medical waste units other than the unit and individuals to deal with;

(d) medical waste disposal unit shall be effective measures to ensure that the unit's collection and temporary storage, transport, registration, handover work in line with the relevant state management of hazardous waste transfer coupons. /p>

Article 13 The transportation of medical wastes shall be carried out using special closed transportation tools that are leak-proof, spill-proof, free of sharp edges and corners, and easy to load and unload and clean. Transportation tools shall have obvious warning signs of medical waste, after use shall be cleaned and disinfected in a timely manner.

The transportation of medical waste shall not transport other items.
