Zhou Shiaofeng is the deputy chief physician of the Department of Cardiology at Dongli Hospital, an introverted character with a strict and self-disciplined work life, and is the key cultivator of the department head, Bai He, and the hospital's leadership, and is the backbone of the Department of Cardiology.
Fang Xiaoran, Zhou Xiaofeng's younger sister, enrolls in Dongli Hospital to become a cardiac intensive care unit doctor in order to pursue her own aspirations and ease her brother's relationship with her mother.

Behind-the-scenes production of film and television drama
Screenwriter Zhou Yifei said that in the early stages of creation visited more than 10 tertiary hospitals, in-depth exchanges with nearly 50 first-line cardiologists, added more than 130 medical WeChat, and invited a number of medical consultants to follow up on the whole process of creating the film, from the outline to the screenplay, and from the selection of cases to the deliberation of each line, all strive for excellence. In November 2022, the drama was finalized.
Before the shooting of the drama began, the lead actors entered a number of tertiary hospitals in advance to practice and observe for more than a month, following the doctors to sit in on the clinic, treatments, learn how to communicate with patients, and accumulate experience. The creative team not only built 8,000 square meters of old, middle-aged and young hospitals of different generations, of which the heart center department and ICU studio covers an area of 3,000 square meters, purchased and rented more than 200 sets of professional medical equipment, such as ventilators and anesthesia machines.
Every surgical scene and every professional action during the filming process was professionally guided by the senior doctors of the tertiary hospitals, and the filming in the operating room of the real tertiary hospitals lasted for 25 days, with a total of 491T of footage shot.
