Living alone, what are some common sense health tips you need to have to save money on healthcare?

Living alone, health is one of the most important issues that should not be ignored. After all, if you do get sick, and you're the only one at home, there's no one who can give you care and support! Moreover, people who live alone are often more likely to ignore their own health conditions, resulting in some small illnesses and pains gradually developed into serious health problems. Therefore, for those who live alone, understanding some health knowledge and wellness methods can not only help us to maintain good health, but also effectively reduce medical costs!

Without further ado, I'm going to share with you some of my experiences and tips from living alone for three years and how to minimize unnecessary medical expenses through prevention and self-care, let's take a look~?

First, eat healthy?

Many people who live alone actually have a bad habit of eating takeout or convenience food! But this is not only costly, but also not good for the body oh. Usually, takeout or convenience food contains too much fat, salt and additives. If consumed over a long period of time, they can easily lead to obesity, high blood pressure and other diseases!

So, I suggest you try to cook by yourself, or buy some fresh ingredients from the supermarket and process them yourself. This will not only ensure balanced nutrition, but also exercise your cooking skills.

Like myself, I live alone, but every morning I get up, I go to the neighborhood market to buy some fresh vegetables, fruits, meats, etc., and then go home to make a hearty breakfast. At noon and in the evening, I will also cook some simple and delicious dishes according to my own taste and schedule. After all, cooking this way not only saves money, but is also fun! Of course, if you don't know how to cook or don't have time to cook, you can also choose some healthier takeout or convenience foods, such as salads, fruits, yogurt, etc., but be sure to control the amount and frequency of Oh~

Secondly, pay attention to sports exercise?

I think it seems like people who live alone are particularly prone to laziness and decadence, staying at home all day and not wanting to go out, but this not only affects the body's metabolism and immunity, but also affects the state of their own psyche and their emotions!

So, to insist on doing at least half an hour of aerobic exercise every day, such as walking, running, cycling and so on is possible. Not only can you strengthen your body and immunity, prevent chronic diseases and obesity, but you can also relax and reduce stress!

There is a park in my neighborhood, so every morning after I get up, I go there to run for an hour, then go home to take a shower and have breakfast, unless it rains haha. In addition, at noon and at night after work, I will also go to the gym or gymnasium to exercise the body, which is actually still very meaningful, after all, long-term not only to maintain the body and health, but also able to meet some like-minded friends ah! The first thing you need to do is to get a good night's sleep, and then you'll be able to get a good night's sleep.

Compared to several people in a cabin, in fact, living alone will be more susceptible to external interference and influence, such as noise, light, temperature and so on. These factors tend to affect the quality and duration of sleep, and once you don't get enough sleep or too much sleep, it can have an adverse effect on your body and mind. The memory, concentration, and so on are all symptoms that will increase the risk of disease!

So, it is recommended that you try to get 7-8 hours of quality sleep every day. We can start with a sleep program, and we must adjust our work schedules so that we can prevent staying up too late or sleeping too much! Anyway, I go to bed before 11pm every night and wake up around 6am, which is a biological clock. Long-term down not only can make their spirits full and work efficiently, but also can slow down the aging and beauty oh, especially girls ha, must pay attention to!

Fourth, pay attention to mental health?

It's easy to feel lonely when you live alone, and it's easy to have a negative impact on your psyche in the long run, such as depression, anxiety, low self-esteem and so on. And these psychological problems, if not dealt with in a timely manner, will certainly be harmful to the body.

We need to limit our online socializing and keep our offline socializing, and we also need to communicate with our family and friends, and participate in some meaningful activities or volunteer services to develop some hobbies, such as reading, writing, painting, music and so on, which are all good ways to enrich our spiritual life.

Anyways, you just stick to the idea that after work every day, you should first give your family or friends a call to chat, or maybe ask a few buddies to go see a movie and have a meal. Then on weekends, if you don't work overtime, you'll go to some public welfare activities or cultural activities, such as going to a home for the elderly with the elderly, or going to the museum to see the exhibition, etc., and so on, stick with it and you will find that such socialization not only relieves loneliness and isolation, but also broadens the horizons and grows the knowledge!
