Medical insurance MIS is an independent management information system composed of many subsystems. In addition to the physical structure, its structure mainly refers to the parts of the system and the relationship between the various components. 1. General model Since the management information system has five major functions, the components that implement these functions are essential. These components are also often called subsystems or functional modules. These functional modules can be organized in different ways to form different types of structures. Generally, it can be divided into two types: "assembly line" structure and "toolbox" structure. Medical insurance MIS generally adopts a toolbox structure. The medical insurance MIS system is divided into three major modules, namely, medical insurance institutions, medical institutions and insured parties. 2. Functional structure of the medical insurance management information system From the functional level, the medical insurance management information system can be divided into medical insurance fund collection, use, accounting, management functions, supervision of the medical structure, improvement functions and query functions. Each function is independent of each other, has its own goals and tasks, and plays a different role. As an integral part of a unity, they are interconnected and serve the overall goal of the system. 3. Physical structure of medical insurance management information system The physical structure of the system refers to the composition of computer software and hardware equipment. Generally, corresponding equipment is configured according to the system's goals, functions, data volume, and processing requirements to form the physical structure of the system. At present, common structures are divided into two categories: single-machine structure and multi-machine structure, and multi-machine structure is divided into two types: multi-user and network.
