Meaning

Helicopter as the 20th century aviation technology is very characteristic of one of the creations, greatly expanding the scope of application of the aircraft, helicopter is a typical dual-use products, can be widely used in transportation, patrol, tourism, rescue and other fields.

Advantages

The outstanding features of helicopter are that it can do maneuvering flight with low altitude (several meters above the ground), low speed (from hovering) and constant nose direction, especially it can take off and land vertically in small sites. Because of these characteristics, it has a wide range of uses and development prospects. In the military has been widely used in ground attack, landing, weapons delivery, logistical support, battlefield rescue, reconnaissance patrol, command and control, communications, anti-submarine minesweeping, electronic countermeasures and so on.

In civil applications, it is used in short-distance transportation, medical care, disaster relief, emergency rescue, lifting equipment, geological exploration, forest protection and firefighting, and aerial photography. The transportation of personnel and materials between oil wells and bases at sea is an important aspect of civil use.

Short-range - vertical take-off and landing aircraft combat target is not a conventional combat aircraft, its combat objectives are ultra-low altitude air control and combat airborne low-speed targets, responsible for accompanying my helicopter group, the main attempt to anti-helicopter and anti-drone operations, taking into account the ground close tactical support of the short-range - vertical take-off and landing of fixed-wing aircraft is still irreplaceable.
