The technological process, tank type and equipment selection of Sanwayao Sewage Treatment Plant are all based on reducing energy consumption. In the sewage treatment part, new technologies such as bell grit chamber, microporous aerator and radial secondary sedimentation tank are adopted. In the sludge treatment part, air flotation concentration is used to increase the sludge concentration (the solid content of sludge entering the digester is calculated as 4%), thus reducing the volume of digester and the heat required for heating sludge. In terms of equipment selection, 250WDL water pump and energy-saving equipment such as BID125 ~1.681.0 centrifugal fan are selected, and at the same time, automatic slag removal mechanical grille, Zhong's grit chamber, microporous aerator, sludge suction scraper in secondary sedimentation tank, heating and stirring equipment in digestion chamber, belt filter press and testing instruments are introduced.

The total installed capacity of the equipment is about 3400 kW, the average power consumption is about 39,800 kWh/d, and the power consumption for treating 1 m3 sewage is about 0.4kWh;; . Biogas production is 6.5~9.5 m3/m3 sludge (fresh sludge); The heat consumption of digester is 22,900 ~ 35,300 kcal/m3 sludge.
